Types of Wall Saws
Common manual wallboard saws include cockle saws, folding saws, etc. The cockle saw has a narrow and long body with fine teeth, suitable for use in small spaces or for fine cutting, such as local trimming of small wallboards.
Blade Materials
The saw blades are mostly made of high-quality steel such as 65Mn steel, SK5, 75crl, etc. These materials have been specially heat treated and surface treated to ensure high hardness, toughness, and wear resistance.
Grip Materials
Grip materials include wood, plastic, rubber, etc. Wooden grips feel comfortable and have a certain degree of anti-slip properties but are easily affected by moisture in humid environments. Plastic grips are lightweight and durable, waterproof, and moisture-proof, but have relatively poor anti-slip properties. Rubber grips offer good anti-slip properties and comfort, effectively reducing hand fatigue.
Features of Manual Wallboard Saws
Manual wallboard saws are small in size and light in weight. The cutting angle and direction can be flexibly adjusted as needed during operation. For wallboards with irregular shapes or requiring curved cutting, they can better meet cutting needs.

Comparison with Electric Wallboard Saws
Compared with electric wallboard saws, manual wallboard saws are cheaper and do not require a power drive. The cost of use is low, making them suitable for individual users or small decoration projects. Their structure is relatively simple, with no complex electric parts, making maintenance easier. Regular cleaning of the saw blade, keeping it sharp, and preventing rust are generally sufficient.
Precautions for Using Wall Saws
• Choose the corresponding saw blade according to the material and thickness of the wallboard to ensure cutting effect and efficiency.
• When installing the saw blade, ensure that the direction of the saw teeth is forward and install the saw blade firmly to avoid loosening or falling off during use.
• Wear protective gloves and goggles to prevent injuries to hands and eyes. During the cutting process, pay attention to keeping your body balanced and stable to avoid accidents caused by sudden breakage of the saw blade or movement of the wallboard.
